Percy was born in 1890 in Nottingham and was the son of Harry a solicitors clerk and Maria Elizabeth Forrest , they lived in East Bridgford. they had 6 children in total. In the 1911 census the family are living at East Bridgford , Percy is single 21 years of age and an insurance office clerk , he is at the address with his parents and 3 of his siblings , Richard Arthur , Charles Cecil and Dorothy May , the family are employing one servant Lily Gray 19 yrs . His probate was proven in Nottingham on 1st July 1919 , which states , Percy Huskinson Forrest of 88 Holme Road, West Bridgford , Second Lieutenant in HM Army died on 21st March 1918 at Roussoy near Peronne, France, his effects of £475 12 shillings and 5 pence were awarded to his father Harry Forrest, solicitors managing clerk.
He was attached to the 16th battalion , Machine Gun Corps He is buried in Templeux-Le- Guerard British Cemetery, Somme, grave reference I D 10
